We are here to guide you through the murky world of Whisky, taking you from the supermarket favourites to some of the rarer drams you might find in your collection.

In each review we will include 6 items that will give you, the reader, a background knowledge of the distillery and the taste of the Whisky.

We’ll include the Distillery, it’s age, colour, the nose, importantly the taste and perhaps even more so the price of the dram that we’ll be reviewing. 

To begin with I’ll be reviewing the whisky that I house in my own collection, that to my wife’s terror has been slowly growing over the last 5 years.  

There will also be a handy terminology page where Whisky apprentices can learn a little bit more about some of the words that we’ll be using in the reviews.
